Appliance Buy Back (March 12 – April 12) 

  • $5 per large appliance at Capital Steel
  • City will pick up appliances
  • No buy back when City picks up

 Tire Buy Back (March 12 – April 12)

  • $1 per tire delivered to Transfer Station
  • Limited to 10 per individual

Junk Car Buy Back (March 12 – April 12)

  • $25 per junk vehicle
  • Contact City Inspection Department

Recycling – Transfer Station (Continuous)

  • 902 A&M Lane
  • Brush and Tree Limbs
  • Metal and White goods
  • Tires
  • Newspaper
  • Office Paper
  • Magazines
  • Aluminum Cans
  • Cardboard
  • Plastic Bottles and Jugs
  • Auto Batteries
  • Used Oil and Oil Filters (also at 302 Avenue G)

Loan-a-Trailer (Continuous)

  • Bulk Waste Only
  • Sign up at City Hall
  • Trailer set overnight

Transfer Station (Continuous)

  • 902 A&M Lane
  • Monday – Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Bulk Waste accepted
  • All Recycle items accepted

Bulk Waste includes most waste except:

  • Used oil and oil filers (recycle at Transfer Station or 302 Avenue G)
  • Tires (recycle at Transfer Station)
  • Loose Paper (place in dumpster)
  • Food Waste (place in dumpster)
  • Appliances (recycle at Transfer Station)
  • Metals (recycle at Transfer Station)
  • Dirt or Concrete
  • Chemicals or Chemical Containers of Any Kind
  • Radioactive or Hazardous Materials of Any Kind
  • Any Liquids
  • Batteries (recycle automobile batteries at Transfer Station)

Roll Off Program (Continuous)

  • No cost 40 yard roll off for house demolition by owner
